Here are some music videos we made to make you happy.

2005.12.10, travel happy movie

This all started in Erzurum, Turkey, while waiting for the Iranian visa. Erika wanted to learn some music software so we did a couple of tutorials and we made this little happy tune. Then while wandering the streets we started talking about how fun it would be to make a little music video, so began collecting little clips on our camera. Once again while in Tehran, Iran, waiting for our Indian and Pakistani visas (which took a long time), we found time to put some of the clips to our track.

All of the footage was gathered between Erzurum, Turkey and Bobol, Iran.

Shot-by-Shot

1. Opening sequences were filmed in at the Golestan Palace in Tehran. It's a blend of shots of the mirror mosaic walls of the main hall.

2. Various shots of the bus ride from Erzurum to Dogubayazit in Turkey.

4. View from the top of the Castle of the Assassins in Almut/Qazvin, Iran.

5. Twin minarets of Erzerum. Our favourite pide place. (They have patato wrapped in dough, baked in the oven, Yum!)

6. Soldiers doing a special dance in Agri, Turkey. Shortly after shooting this they pulled both of us in to dance with them. Agri was only a one hour stopover, but these guys just started dancing in the parking lot.
